FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions:
At the start of your Kinesiology session, we discuss the main issues and/or symptoms you are experiencing.
Kinesiology takes a holistic look at your health by giving consideration to your physical, mental, emotional and physiological well-being. Our initial discussion aims to determine physical, mental/emotional or biochemical stressors that may be contributing to energetic imbalances and to the symptoms you are experiencing.
The Kinesiologist uses muscle testing to determine the range of techniques required to help alleviate the energetic imbalance, in order to restore the natural balance of the body. This requires that you lay on the massage table, fully clothed. The techniques used are non-invasive and are aimed at restoring energetic imbalance, in order to help alleviate or resolve the symptom/s you are experiencing.
The Kinesiologist may also discuss simple activities you can do to influence your own health and well-being, creating a better understanding of your body and how you operate.
The techniques used in Kinesiology are many and varied. The types of techniques we use may include holding points on your head, rubbing specific points on your feet, palpating specific acupressure points on your body, locating meridian energy pathways, doing muscle tests. The session may also incorporate the use of essential oils, essences, sound, or colour to help restore the body’s energetic equilibrium. Every person and therefore every session is different.
Adult sessions and child sessions are one hour.
